For the love of the beach and the sea

Slovakian-born Anna Kosturova is a typical career changer in the fashion business. With a master's degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in textile technology, in her pocket, she wasn't happy, however. Her love for design and the ocean won out. And so, a collection inspired by the sea and beach came into being, entirely dedicated to the possibilities of crochet art. It's certainly surprising that the handcrafted, tie-dyed designs are created in Vancouver, Canada. The extraordinary designer pieces, made from 100% silk or cotton, are produced by traditional craft businesses worldwide. As a mechanical engineering graduate, Anna Kosturova loves to push the boundaries of crocheting and thus the design of patterns and textures. That's why it sometimes takes two to three years for new designs to be presented as a collection. Anna Kosturova therefore only launches one collection per year – and these tops, trousers, dresses, and skirts are eagerly awaited every time!
