The square is the symbol for the drying process. The circle in it indicates drying in a tumble dryer. The dots included in the drying drum indicate the drying stages.

The article marked in this way generally does not tolerate drying in a tumble dryer.

Be careful when drying in a tumble dryer. Choose a gentle type of treatment with reduced stress (temperature, duration of treatment).

Drying in the tumble dryer under normal load is possible without restrictions.

The iron gives a general indication of whether the item can be ironed or not. The dots indicate the temperature of the irons (regulator, steam, travel irons and ironing machines). In some of the ironing devices in use, certain raw materials are also assigned to these adjustment ranges.

The open iron crossed out symbolizes that ironing is not possible. Disturbing changes that can no longer be corrected are to be expected.

Also corresponds to the "polyacrylic, polyamide (nylon), acetate" iron setting: If necessary, iron shiny or pressure-sensitive items with a dry intermediate cloth or on the reverse side. Be careful when using steam irons (generally work without steam). Not forgiven.

The circle symbol indicates whether professional textile care is possible or not. The letters in the circle are primarily intended for professional textile cleaners. Above all, they provide information about the solvents that can be used. The bar below the circle means that the mechanical stress, the addition of moisture, the bath and/or the drying temperature must be reduced during cleaning. When choosing the cleaning process, the textile cleaner must also take into account the nature of the textiles and their degree of soiling (normal/special cleaning).
