Inspired by Jacopo Janniello's determination to find a new way to respect and revive local Mayan crafts, he developed a new alchemy. A reinterpretation of centuries-old processes that includes a unique concept with unique elements that they call "Neo-Artesania" that combines the thoughts and techniques of the past with the latest ideologies of today. Caravana's artisanal processes ensure less waste and mass production. The dye they use is not an industrial dye but a homemade dye made in Mexico which means less environmental impact on nature. They use a leading brand of non-industrial home textile dyes in Mexico. The company they work with is involved in social initiatives such as dye workshops, savings, self-employment for all customers and also develops ecological lines. The dyeing process is also handmade and the supplier's products used are certified non-toxic by the ACM (Art and Creative Materials Institute) from the USA.
