Charo Ruiz grew up surrounded by fabrics and patterns in her Spanish hometown of Seville. No wonder, since both her mother and grandmother worked as seamstresses. The love of fashion was literally put into her cradle. Charo Ruiz started her own career in the industry as a model in Barcelona. In the late seventies she settled in Ibiza and set up her own workshop and showroom on the island with the idea of reinventing the concept of fashion made in Ibiza. In 1989 the first collection of dreamy beach dresses was launched. Since then, the label Charo Ruiz Ibiza has brought us feminine dresses with a freedom-loving Ibiza feeling year after year.
The key pieces of the collection are definitely still the airy beach dresses made of fine cotton voile with crocheted lace. The warmth, colors and textures of the island inspire Charo Ruiz to create new collections of tops, skirts and kaftans made from natural materials.
Sexy boho vibes combined with romantic cuts
The Charo Ruiz Ibiza collection consists of dresses , skirts and blouses. Above all, the traditional Carmen neckline can be found on many tops and dresses. Black and white are the dominant colors. Cute lace borders turn the key pieces of the collection into romantic must-haves that enhance every wardrobe. A dress by Charo Ruiz is essential for an Ibiza holiday, but the ethnic look is also perfect for other trips in the sun.
Two-piece sets consisting of a cropped top and a mini skirt dominate the collection and can also be worn individually to be carried. And we simply throw the kaftan over our bikini in the resort when we make ourselves comfortable on a lounger to browse.
