      THE STORY

Nikki Kule was born into fashion. Her father, Gene "King of Pants" Kule, founded im New York launched the Happy Legs brand in the 1970s.Knowing that she wanted to stay in the industry, Nikki Kule attended Parsons University and honed her aesthetic through residencies in Paris, New York and Rome. After the birth of her first child, she saw the chance to design luxury childrenswear and founded KULE, the second childrenswear designer to be accepted into the CFDA, in 2001. After a stint as Children's Creative Director at Brooks Brothers, Nikki transitioned into womenswear and launched KULE in 2015 with a line of perfectly striped t-shirts.Now that it's back to outfitting the whole family, women, men and kids, it's really come full circle for the brand.

The collection has grown, but so has the design approachhas remained the same: happy clothes, made with love, made to last.

      WHAT KULE DOES
Kule sets out to design the perfect striped shirt by optimizing fit and fabric, all with a modern twist and a cheerful wink. Sure, there are occasionally unexpected color combinations or hidden cheeky details, but the pieces are meant to stay in your closet forever. They've also applied that design ethos to sweaters, socks and everything else they make, all with the aim of making you smile. Their playful approach means there are plenty of surprises to come. Stay tuned in!

      HOW THEY DO IT
Kule works with small factories around the world who love their products as much as they do. From the family-run factory in Portugal, who make their signature striped T shirts, right down to their 100 year old American tote supplier, they produce pieces that stand the test of time and will make you smile for years to come.

With their Green Capsule, KULE uses 100% organic yarns and recycled cuts, all washed with recycled water, and they're constantly finding ways to bring their sustainability insights to their entire supply chain. To learn more about their sustainability efforts, visit KULE Green.
