      With her label of the same name, the Greek Mary Katrantzou stands for artistic digital prints and breathtaking cuts.

      Under the motto "I want to push print to the limit", the Greek-born Mary Katrantzou designs collections full of colors and joie de vivre in her adopted home of London. The prints seem to have been shaped by the designer's architecture studies, because the label stands for all-over prints from objects that could also be in our living room or on our dressing table: perfume bottles, lampshades or stamps.

      Absolutely extraordinary: fashion for a unique appearance
      Since 2008 Mary Katrantzou has become an integral part of British fashion. Her cuts and materials are legendary. A colorful mix of patterns, bright fabrics, the finest materials such as silk or viscose as well as unusual silhouettes, oversized flounces, casual fringes, sexy cut-outs or large sequins make the creations of Born in Greece, she inspires not only the international fashion scene with her collections, but also stars like d Italian fashion journalist Anna Dello Russo and models like Claudia Schiffer or Kylie Jenner.

      A design by Mary Katrantzou one at first sight. Even basics like one-pieces or wrap dresses look like real works of art. Her prints reflect the designer's passion for collecting: Whether it's seashells, stamps or perfume bottles, there's always a whole collection of objects on Mary Katrantzou's dresses, trouser suits or skirts.

      Your anniversary collection, for example, distills all previous collections and yet takes them to another level. It combines pantsuits for perfume bottles and lampshade skirts made of the finest silk, shimmering viscose or metallic mesh material. The collection is the renaissance of the legendary Fall/Winter 2009/2010 collection, which featured tunics with bottle prints inspired by Pleasures bottles, Eternity or Shalimar bottles. The lampshades are reminiscent of Mary Katrantzou's spring/summer 2011 collection, in which she first showed these motifs.

      From design student to international entrepreneur
      Mary Katrantzou is a graduate of the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, a college for art and design in central London, where Stella McCartney and John Galliano also studied. Even her first collection caused a stir and Mary Katrantzou inspired critics such as fashion victims: in 2010 she received the Swiss Textiles Award, the following year she won the British Fashion Award in the newcomer category.

      Numerous celebrities like Kerry Washington swear by the Greek-born designer's exciting dresses and wear them to extraordinary events such as Cate Blanchett at the Cannes Film Festival. Princess Beatrice of York showed up in a dress with a peacock feather print and Kendall Jenner in a shirt with frayed cut-outs.

      The Mary Katrantzou brand not only attracts fashion enthusiasts: A Chinese investor enables the designer to to expand the Asian market. And Mary Katrantzou has more plans. She is currently planning a jewelry collection and other collaborations.
